Heart Pounding Studies: Layering Authentic Scientific Illustration with the Emotional & Expressive Heart

Children's Arts/Crafts, Drawings/Works on Paper

In this class with Rachel Simpson, participants will create clay and beeswax anatomical hearts and draw expressive hearts. Decide how you’d like to assemble the layers of your heart and how you’d like to speak with your heart and communicate what’s inside. Open to both children and adults; children 8-12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $40.00 per participant (parent/guardians are free).
