The Hunts

Known for their harmony-laced alt-folk, the Hunts are a Chesapeake, Virginia-based band of seven siblings who have been playing music together almost their entire lives. Twin sisters Jessi and Jenni and brothers Josh, Jonathan, Jordan, Justin, and Jamison—now ranging in age from 26 down to 17—learned to sing and play violin as young kids and spent much of their childhood performing in their community. Adding mandolin, piano, ukulele, banjo, drums, and now songwriting to their repertoire has brought to life a batch of songs that reveal the siblings’ sophisticated sense of melody and undeniably dreamy innocence. The Mikado

Time For A Change

Benefit/Fundraiser

Join the National Alliance on Mental Illness for a night of dance and music. "Time For a Change" is a collection of more than 60 of Bellingham's best local performers, including both professionals and amateurs. The event will feature contemporary dance, A Capella songs, and chamber string and wind ensembles. In addition, several guest speakers (including a pediatric psychiatrist from PeaceHealth) will be giving presentations as part of the event with information about eradicating stigma and promoting mental health awareness. All proceeds go to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

Neil Berg shares the 50-year history of the phenomenon that changed the world forever. Using mostly music to tell the story are five singers and a five-piece band that recreates rock’s greatest stars. Berg adds into the mix his own narrative of little-known and surprising stories. Enjoy this celebration of Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Frankie Valli, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin, the Who, Janis Joplin, Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Aerosmith, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, and more.

Live from Laurel Canyon & Songs of American Folk Rock

Immerse yourself in this ninety-minute musical retrospective of some of the most influential artists who lived in Laurel Canyon between 1965 and 1975. Similar to other legendary rock and roll neighborhoods of the same era—like Haight Ashbury in San Francisco or Greenwich Village in NYC—Laurel Canyon was a community of artists who would forge the new genre of folk rock. Enjoy the music of bands like the Mamas and the Papas; the Byrds; Buffalo Springfield; the Doors; Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young; James Taylor; Carole King; Joni Mitchell; Jackson Browne; Linda Ronstadt; and America.
