Jocelyn Pettit Band Concert


With grace and passion, Jocelyn delivers an engaging and uplifting performance of original and traditional music inspired from the Canadian and Celtic cultures of Cape Breton, Quebec, Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, and Galicia. Jocelyn has been nominated for the Canadian Folk Music “World Artist of the Year” award as well as “Young Performer of the Year.” Since the debut of her self-titled album, Jocelyn has toured North America, Ireland, Scotland, and France.

Gaelic Language & Song Workshop


Instructors Stacey Giermann and Rich Hill from Seattle-based Slighe nan Gaidheal have a great workshop planned to help beginners speak–and sing!–in Gaelic. The workshop is designed as a beginning course for newcomers to the language; however, all levels of language learners are welcome. Participants will start the day with a quick introduction to what Scottish Gaelic is and a bit of the language’s history. In addition to vocabulary and conversation, students will also learn about various types of Gaelic songs.

Blackthorn Band Concert


Blackthorn’s extensive repertoire is rooted in the musical traditions of Scotland and Ireland as well as the folk music of English and French Canada. The band is comprised of four musicians - Rosie Carver (fiddle, vocals), Michelle Carlisle (flue, piccolo, pennywhistle, fife, vocals), Michael Viens (guitar, harmonica, bodhran, vocals) and Tim Renaud (bass, bodhran, octave-mandolin, vocals). Refreshments will be available for purchase. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Dylan Foley & Eamon O'Leary Concert


All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Dylan Foley joins the stage with Eamon O’Leary for a night of great music. Enjoy brilliant fiddle playing and superb accompaniment from two of the finest Irish musicians of our time. Dylan’s passionate and lyrical style is complimented by Eamon’s powerful songs and beautiful playing. Two masters, well met, for an unforgettable evening.
