Bayview Cemetery Tours: History of Bayview Cemetery

Talks/Lectures

Learn about the history of Bellingham’s nonprofit cemetery, the Veterans’ and Mothers’ Memorials, and some of the historical and artistic monuments that make Bayview a very special place. All tours begin at 2PM at the Veterans’ Memorial, last 1 to 1.5 hours, and cover 1 mile over uneven ground. Tours are free and open to the public (reservations required @ 360-778-7150).

Bayview Cemetery Tours: "Murder and Mayhem"

Talks/Lectures

This Friday the 13th tour, partly based on local author Todd Warger’s book Murder in the Fourth Corner, reveals the dastardly deeds that resulted in some of the burials in Bellingham’s nonprofit cemetery, including a “serial-killing psychopath,” the butchered butcher, the infamous bank robbers of Sedro-Woolley; and that repeatedly incarcerated Jake Terry, who was shot by his wife’s husband.

On this tour along Cemetery Creek you will learn about some of our native plants, animals and other creatures that live in and around Bayview.
