Allied Arts of Whatcom County’s 2018 Gallery Series presents the Native Arts Collective, featuring the unique and captivating works of Native artists from throughout the Pacific Northwest. The exhibition will consist of various media including intricate beadwork, jewelry, wood carving, metalwork, drums, blankets, glass, and more. On display from June 1st until June 30th, 2018.

Allied Arts of Whatcom County’s 2018 Gallery Series is proud to introduce a Star Wars Tribute, an ode to the Star Wars Franchise, starring the imaginative staff of Old School Tattoo. Star Wars Tribute deviates from a tattooist’ typical medium, allowing the artists to make their mark in a new and exciting way. These artists have diligently worked on pieces exemplifying the adventurous spirit of outer space, the final frontier. On display from July 6th through the 28th, 2018.

2018 Gallery Series: We are WACK

Art Show

Whatcom’s Artists of Clay and Kiln (WAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ceramic artists from Whatcom County with a passion for creative expression with clay. We are excited to present this exhibit, honoring clay’s malleable shapes and forms. The Allied Arts Gallery, partnered with WACK, is excited to present this exhibit during its opening reception on August 3rd, 2018, from 6-9pm. We are WACK will run from August 3rd-25th.

2018 Galler Series: Organic Reaction

Art Show

Organic Reaction is an exhibit dedicated to the inspiration and beauty of the natural world, and the art that can be made from it. Allied Arts presents this show in conjunction with Whatcom Museum. Endangered Species, an ongoing exhibit at Whatcom Museum, highlights artists’ unique ability to bring attention to the importance of biodiversity and the protection of endangered species from diverse ecosystems. This show will be displayed from its opening reception on September 7th 6-9 pm to its closure on September 30th.

2018 Gallery Series: Color!

Art Show

This exhibit celebrates the many mechanisms of color in its influence on meaning, texture, and aesthetic. Color! represents an artists’ ability to draw the eye with vibrancy and movement, featuring artists such as Christopher Morrison, Damian Di Nitto, Marjie Miller, Victor Flores, and more. Color! will be displayed from October 5th through the 27th of 2018, following its opening reception on October 5th from 6 to 9 p.m.
