Cascadia Dreams at the J

Multimedia

Celebrate the sublime landscapes of the Pacific Northwest at Cascadia Dreams. Cascadia Dreams is a multimedia presentation featuring stunning images and mesmerizing video of our local mountains, rivers, beaches, and the Salish Sea, accompanied by a live performance by Native American flute master Gary Stroutsos. This special presentation highlights the passionate photography of John D’Onofrio and Lance Ekhart (with additional time-lapse video by Brett Baunton) in an elegiac tapestry of sight and sound that includes new images and video as well as a newly recorded backing score by some of the Pacific Northwest’s most innovative musicians. Stroutsos will introduce the presentation with a solo performance and storytelling, drawing on his decades of immersion in native cultures. A reception with the artists will follow the performance.
