Stephen Pilolla


After enrolling in the music program at Skagit Valley College, pianist Stephen Pilolla has been composing non-stop. He wrote music for 3 theatrical productions at SVC, and is currently finishing work on Janitor Cruelty, an original musical. He is also a dedicated member of Impressions Jazz Band, a talented group formed from the ashes of the SVC Jazz ensemble.

Folk, Rock, Blues

Northwest rooted singer-songwriter Allison Preisinger merges her influences of nature, folk rock, city living, blues, and soul into acoustic folk that’s like visiting your best friend. Pacific Northwest born and grown, Amanda Winterhalter makes songs at once elegantly-crafted yet unafraid to show blood. With award-winning songs, her album, Olea, presents her range of styles from gothic Americana to grit rock.

Always... Patsy Cline


Ria Peth Vanderpool and Kelly Visten reprise their roles as Patsy Cline and Louise Seger, respectively. The show is based on a true story about Cline's friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in l961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. The show includes many of Patsy's unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight, 27 songs in all.

Featuring Margaret Inez Driscoll on fiddle, Zach Bauman on mandolin, bouzouki, vocals, Jan Peters on harmonicas, bouzouki, vocals, and David Lofgren on bodhrán. They play a lot of unusual jigs, reels, and songs, from bright to darkly modal, driving to sultry, and have a beautiful sound. As American folk musicians, some Americana sensibilities will leap out here and there as part of their joy of playing and being themselves.

Joe T. Cook Blues Band @ Conway Muse


Award winning Minneapolis bluesman Joe T. Cook brings his band of west coast blues all stars to the Conway Muse on Saturday, May 5th 2018. Show time is 7:30 pm. The band also features three time B.B. Award winning guitarist Tim "Stoop Down" Sherman, a Washington Blues Society Hall of Fame artist.
