Celebrating Women Who Fly

Running

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are having a “Women Who Fly” themed Tuesday All-Paces Run. Please note, this is open to everyone, not just women. -Float along in a pair of demo Hoka shoes that you can take out on the run. -Hang around afterward for a 10 minute showing of “Women Who Fly” – a film series that Hoka made telling inspiring stories of women who have conquered their issues and paved a path to triumph over adversity. -Take a quick “Do you know these Wonder Women?” quiz before the run. -Door prizes, giveaways and refreshments after the run. Weekly Tuesday night All-Paces Runs are 20 minutes out and 20 minutes back, along waterfront trails and paths. Participants are divided into groups by pace, ranging from run/walk to 7-8 minute miles. Starts and finishes at the store. As this is our last All-Paces Run before Daylight Savings Time returns, be sure to still bring a headlamp or other light source. So sorry, but these are people only events (no doggies).

Top of the evening to you at this St. Paddy’s Day themed romp. – Wear Green and earn an extra gold coin that just might win you a great raffle prize. – Leg it (Irish slang for “run quickly”) in a demo pair of the Agility Peak 3 or Bare Access 2 shoes. – Give us your best limerick about running in our pre-run contest. – Green themed eats & drinks to top it off. – With Daylight Savings Time here, this will be our first sunlit run of the year – no need for a headlamp. Run Faster, Easier, More Injury Free - Running Form and Efficiency Tips Clinic

Staffer (and coach) Josh Vander Wiele will be at the store to share some great tips for faster, easier, more injury free running. Participants will get a chance to practice what they learn with guided drills and feedback. There will be time for your running related questions. Class Max: 10 participants. Must RSVP prior to clinic by calling (360) 676-4955.
