Mindfulness Workshop with Tim Burnett

Join local mindfulness practitioner Tim Burnett, Guiding Teacher and Executive Director of Mindfulness Northwest, for an exploration of mindfulness practices that promote awareness and well-being. We'll discuss the origins of mindfulness, touch on stress physiology, and explore how mindfulness practices can help us engage in our relationship to experience, reducing stress and enhancing wellness and full engagement with life. Simple practices of breathing and mindful movement will support our discussion as we explore mindfulness from the inside out. Mindfulness teacher Tim Burnett has been practicing meditation for 30 years. He is knowledgeable about mindfulness from its traditional Buddhist origins and into its contemporary applications in medicine and psychology. Tim is authorized to offer Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction(MBSR), Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), and Compassion Cultivation Training(CCT).
