The Truth About Plastics

On Saturday, April 27, 2019, please join the Mt. Baker Group Sierra Club and Zero Waste Washington for "The Truth About Plastics," a fun and educational plastics forum at Whatcom Community College, Syre Auditorium in Bellingham. This all-day event will explore the life cycle of plastics, the harmful impacts along the way, and how we all, especially industry and government, can reduce or eliminate those impacts. Speakers include Dr. Mark Peyron (WWU), Alex Ramel (stand.earth), Heather Trim (Director, Zero Waste Washington), and more. Doors open at 8:45 am, program begins at 9:30.
