Join me for a weekend Cultivating Mindful Compassion workshop and learn tools to help you cultivate acceptance and compassion for self and others. Registration required. Drawing from my 20+ year Taoist meditation background and Stanford University's Compassion Cultivation Training, Cultivating Mindful Compassion is a unique blend of compassion training, mindfulness, Taoist philosophy, and qigong to help you: Compassionately engage your inner critic by embracing acceptance for self and others. Release mental or emotional blocks by moving toward peace and creativity while dissolving anxiety and depression. Enhance vitality through moving meditation (walking, qigong, mudra). Reduce rumination by settling and focusing your mind, expanding awareness of the current moment. Communicate authentically and from the heart. Strengthen your ability to be present and resilient in the face of difficulty. Course includes: Instruction of meditation techniques including Taoist meditation, mudra meditation, guided meditation, and qigong. Large group discussion around themes related to acceptance and compassion for self and others. Small group/pair exercises pertaining to each theme. Guided meditation audio tracks for you to keep & listen to in order to help you deepen your practice.
