Community Event

This day will be jam packed with free events for the whole family. -Movement & Climate Resilience led by dancer and choreographer Jassmine Ramgotra. -Artist's Talk by Surge Contributor Suze Woolf on her work and process. -Upcycled Book Art taught by art teacher Rachel Simpson, in which participants will transform an old book that's been discarded or gently-worn, into something new. Students can bring their own old hardbound books to recycle, although some will be provided on a first come-first serve basis. Dress for mess. -Knit-a-Long with The Tempestry Project.
