Fall Demo Derby

For the Family

Plenty of ‘smash hits’ will be heard at the Fall Demo Derby. Coming off a series of “smash hits” recorded at a sold-out performance during fair week, local drivers return for an encore at the Fall Demo Derby. “The Fall Demo Derby gives fans who weren’t able to attend either of the shows during the fair a second chance,” said Jim Baron, general manager of the Northwest Washington Fair & Event Center. “It’s a fun date night and also great for families because children 10 and younger are admitted free!” Food trucks and a beer garden open at 5 p.m. The grandstand opens with festival seating at 5:30 p.m. and the Fall Demo Derby, presented by MyTrafficMan.net and Northwest Propane, starts at 6:30 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $12 apiece through the fair’s website, www.nwwafair.com, and at the fair’s Lynden office, 1775 Front St. Tickets also will be available at the gate Sept. 22 for $15 apiece. Free parking will be offered in Lot 5 off Kok Road and Lot 3 off Front Street.
