Rosalind Spitzer

Anna's Home. Historical Fiction! A young Swedish-American must choose between her loving family and teaching career in Minnesota and the pioneer minister she loves in remote Washington Territories.  Drawing on real-life letters and journals and additional research, Anna’s Home depicts the richly detailed challenges of immigrant families in late nineteenth-century America. Rosalind Spitzer’s degrees in English from Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Washington prepared her for a career in education and an avocation in writing. She lives with her husband Richard in rural Whatcom County where, when not at the computer, she can usually be found in the garden.
