Live at the Piano Lounge: Queens Bluegrass

Thursday nights, the J invites you to enjoy free live music in the piano lounge from 6 PM - 8 PM. The Firehall Cafe at the J offers their full menu of food and beverages until 9 PM. Curated by local musician Victor Pruner, the Live Music in the Piano Lounge series is designed to bring a variety of local musicians to engage the community. Queens Bluegrass: Hard driving, traditional bluegrass with roots reaching back to the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The groupís founder, Ernest Queen, was born and raised in and around Cowarts, North Carolina and brought the music he heard and played throughout his youth with him to Washington. For this performance Kevin Fazio, banjo and Aaron Maas, vocals and guitar will be joined by Katie Weed on the fiddle.
