Bellingham Greek Festival

Community Event, For the Family, Ethnic, Fair/Festival, Food/Tasting, General

Join the over 30,000 people celebrating culture and heritage at the Bellingham Greek Festival, September 7 through 10, 2017, at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, 510 E. Sunset Drive, in Bellingham, Washington. Hours are Thursday to Saturday, 11 am to 9 pm, and Sunday, 11 pm to 8 pm. Enjoy traditional gyros of lamb or beef, Greek salad with feta, chicken or lamb Souvlaki, Spanakopita, and more. Cut your sweet tooth on old world Baklava, cookies, or have a community favorite, Loukoumades (honey dunked doughnuts). Wash it all down with specially made Greek beer from Boundary Bay. Grab a to-go order on your way out and treat your co-workers or family. They'll be saying "Opa"! Browse the gift shop, pose for pictures or learn a little Greek dancing. Kids will love our carnival style games, face painting, bouncy house, and more. Look inside the "big blue dome". Tours, music and other talks will be held in the church. All are welcome to walk in and enjoy on their own, or attend of the scheduled presentations. Admission is free. Tokens for all food and activities are available to buy at the cashiers' tent. Visa and Mastercard happily accepted. Ample parking is located in the lot adjacent to the church and along nearby streets.
