Bellingham Community Chorus

BCC Celebrating 25 Years The Bellingham Community Chorus is celebrating 25 years since its inception with the motto “Sing for Fun.” It is a non-auditioning chorus that invites community members to sing together and share the joy of music. The music has been a mixed of classical, holiday season, Broadway show tunes and contemporary artists. The choral group performs two programs a year for the community. The community chorus has varied in the number of members over the years from thirty-two to seventy-five. No matter what the given number is, the goal has been to provide a quality experience. Many members have performed with the chorus for over twenty years. Members come and go, and sometimes return after being absent some seasons. Currently the chorus membership is 48. Under the artistic direction of Dr. Tim Black, the chorus will be performing this December at the Bellingham Holiday Festival, at the ferry terminal. Their Holiday Concert will be Sunday, December20th, 3 p.m., at St James Presbyterian Church, 910 14th St., Bellingham. Selections include Masters in This Hall, Huron Carol, Noel Nouvelet, African Noel, Hanukkah Traditions and more. Admission is free, gladly accepting donations.
